Issue #5 - Summer 2009
Happy 4th of July!
Join us for our "Rolling Parade" on Saturday, July 4th at 8:00 am in the First Phase Playground!
Jay’s Corner:
Rainy season is here! If we are getting ample amounts of rain, please shut off the irrigation
system for your lawn. Over watering your lawn can cause disease and fungus issues that may
result in having to replace sod.
This is also a perfect time to check your
irrigation system and make sure the heads are working properly.
Twin Rivers Business Directory
A big thanks to Kim Cartano and Christina Brooks for
organizing and creating the Twin Rivers Business Directory. If you are not on the email directory for the neighborhood and would like the electronic copy, please contact Christina Brooks at chrisbrooks23@tampabay.rr.com. This directory is a great opportunity to “call a neighbor” instead of a random name from the phone book for various business needs.
If you would like to receive emails pertaining to the
neighborhood, various announcements or information, please email Gracie Sharp at gsharp@tampabay.rr.com and she will add you to the email list.
Twin Rivers Social Calendar:

• November: 2nd Annual Turkey Trot-5K Run
• December: Christmas Cookie Exchange
Dates to be determined.
Come up with some other ideas of what you would like to see, help us put it together and we’ll make it happen! Email: paigeward2001@yahoo.com
Neighborhood Watch:
If you would like to appoint “Phase Captains” for the neighborhood Watch Committee, we will need for someone to “head” the NW Committee. We
scheduled a meeting last March but did not have enough of a response to continue. This will need to be organized by fellow neighbors and handled by appointed “phase captains”. We are happy to attend meetings!
E-Watch is a great tool if you have not already joined, go to www.manateesheriff.com and click on the e-watch program for more details.
The Stork has struck again!!
Congratulations to the Wallace, Hammett and Sands family!

These letters are not meant to offend anyone but they do address all issues big and small!
